Part 1 — Terms of Use

Who we are

This website is operated by TOP HOME AWNING ROOFING SPECIALIST (registration 202403158311 (JM1008043-K)), of 47 & 49, Jalan 6/2, Off Jalan Balakong, Taman Industri Selesa Jaya, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor, Malaysia. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Top Home Awning Roofing Specialist.

What these terms cover

Part 1 applies to your use of this website. Part 2 sets out the terms on which we survey, measure, quote for, fabricate and install awnings, glass roofs, ceiling roofs, gutters and related work. By using the website you accept Part 1; by asking us to visit, measure or quote, you accept Part 2.

Using the website

You may browse this website and use the contact routes on it to reach us. The photographs on this website are photographs of our own completed installations and are our property. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them, or the text on this website, for any purpose other than contacting us, without our written permission.

Information on the website

We keep the information on this website accurate and current, and we correct it when we find an error. Descriptions of profiles, materials and finishes are general. Which profile suits a particular house, what span is achievable and how it can be fixed are decided at the site survey.

Quotations and prices

Nothing on this website is a quotation or an offer to supply at a particular price. We do not publish prices, because a canopy is priced from the span it has to cross and how it can be supported. A quotation is given only after we have surveyed and measured, and only that quotation describes the scope, price and terms of a particular job.

Promotions

Where this website mentions a promotion, it applies on the terms and for the period stated, and we may end or change it. Ask us to confirm what is running on the day you contact us.

Contacting us through WhatsApp, telephone and email

The WhatsApp, telephone and email routes on this website are operated by third parties: Meta Platforms for WhatsApp, your telephone carrier, and your email provider. Their terms and privacy policies apply to anything you send through them. This website itself collects, stores and processes no personal information. It has no forms, sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking; its only script animates the page as you scroll.

Part 2 — Service Terms

The site survey and measurement

We visit the property at a time you choose and at no charge. At that visit we measure the span you want covered and assess how the structure can be fixed and supported, where rainwater will run, and what the surrounding building allows. The survey covers the areas you ask us to look at, on the day and in the condition we find them. What can be seen and reached at that time is what we can assess; conditions inside a wall, a roof or a foundation may not be visible.

The quotation

After the survey we give you a quotation at no charge. It describes the area to be covered, the profile and materials, the finish, what is included and what is excluded, the price, and any payment terms and any warranty that apply to that job. Only that quotation, once you accept it, forms the agreement for the work. Anything not listed in it is not included.

Warranty

No standard warranty period is published on this website. Any warranty that applies to your job is the one written into your accepted quotation, and nothing on this website adds to it or replaces it.

Profiles, materials and finishes

We recommend a profile and materials for the house we surveyed, chosen for what suits it rather than by price alone. Wood-grain and powder-coated finishes are manufactured products: colour and grain can vary slightly between production batches, and a finish can look different outdoors from how it looks on a sample. Where that difference matters to you, tell us before you accept the quotation and we will show you the material on site.

Scope and additional work

We carry out the work described in the accepted quotation. If, once work has started, we find that more is needed — a wall or column that will not carry a fixing, a span larger than the one measured, or existing drainage that has to be altered — we will tell you before doing anything about it and quote for it separately. Additional work is only carried out with your agreement.

What we need from you

Safe access to the area on the day of the survey and on the days of installation; vehicles, plants and belongings moved clear of the working area before we start; and a contact who can make decisions about the job while we are on site. Installation involves working at height with steel and glass, so the working area must be kept clear of people while we work.

Removing an existing awning

Where your job includes taking down an existing structure, we remove and dispose of it as set out in your quotation. We cannot be responsible for the condition of the wall, floor or finishes left behind once an old structure is removed, or for damage that was already there and hidden by it. We will show you anything of that kind when we find it.

Scheduling and weather

Work is made to your measurements after you accept the quotation, so there is a fabrication period between acceptance and installation. We agree the installation dates with you and tell you in advance when we will arrive. Installation depends on the weather; we may need to pause or move a day because of rain, and we will tell you when we do.

Completion

When the installation is finished we walk the finished work with you. If anything in the agreed scope is incomplete, or is not as quoted, tell us before or at that walk-through and we will put it right.

Photographs of our work

We photograph our own completed installations for our records and, from time to time, publish them on this website and our social media, as with the photographs already on this website. Our photographs show the structure we built; we do not publish your name or your address. If you would prefer that we did not photograph the work at your property, or did not publish photographs of it, tell us before installation and we will not.

Cancellation

You may cancel a survey at any time before it takes place, at no cost. If you wish to cancel after accepting a quotation, tell us as soon as possible. Aluminium, steel and glass are cut to your measurements and cannot be resold, so any material already cut and any work already carried out for your job will be charged as set out in the quotation.

Waranti, bahan dan kerja tambahan

Siap kerja, gambar dan pembatalan

Apabila siap, kami periksa kerja itu bersama anda dan membetulkan apa-apa yang belum lengkap atau tidak seperti dalam sebut harga. Kami mungkin mengambil gambar kerja yang siap untuk rekod dan media sosial kami tanpa nama atau alamat anda; beritahu kami sebelum pemasangan jika anda tidak mahu. Tinjauan boleh dibatalkan pada bila-bila masa tanpa kos. Selepas sebut harga diterima, bahan yang telah dipotong mengikut ukuran anda dan kerja yang telah dibuat akan dicaj seperti dalam sebut harga.

我们会在您选定的时间免费上门，测量要遮盖的范围，评估结构如何固定和支撑、雨水往哪里排。墙内、屋顶内或地基内的情况可能看不到。勘察后，我们免费提供报价，列明遮盖范围、造型与材料、饰面、包括与不包括的项目、价格，以及该工程的付款条件和保修（如有）。只有您接受的报价才构成工程协议。

保修、材料与额外工程

本网站不公布标准保修期；适用于您工程的保修，以您接受的报价所写为准。木纹和粉体喷涂饰面是工厂产品，不同批次的颜色和纹理可能略有差异。若开工后发现需要额外工程，我们会先告诉您并另行报价；额外工程只在您同意后进行。

需要您配合的事项

请提供安全的施工通道，开工前移开车辆和物品，并安排一位能在现场做决定的联系人。安装涉及高处的钢材和玻璃作业，施工期间施工范围内不可有人。

拆除旧棚、工期与天气

如工程包括拆除旧结构，我们按报价拆除并清走。对于旧结构遮住的墙面、地面或饰面原有状况，我们无法负责，但发现时会指给您看。报价确认后，我们按您的尺寸制作；安装日期双方商定，遇雨可能顺延。

完工、照片与取消

完工后，我们与您一起验收，未完成或与报价不符的部分会处理好。我们可能为完工工程拍照，用于记录和社交媒体，不会公开您的姓名或地址；如不希望拍照或发布，请在安装前告诉我们。勘察可随时免费取消。接受报价后取消的，已按您尺寸裁切的材料和已完成的工作，按报价收费。
